For immediate release: February 19, 2013Surrey, BC - Tickets for Surrey Eagles home games for the first round of the Fred Page Cup Playoffs will go on sale on Monday, February 25th at 10:00am, the team announced Tuesday. Surrey will face either the Coquitlam Express, Langley Rivermen or Prince George Spruce Kings in the opening round of the post-season.
The Mainland Division Semi-Final is a best-of-five with the first seed facing the fourth seed in one series, and the second seed taking on the third seed in the other series. The Eagles have already locked up home ice advantage and will host Game 1, Game 2, and Game 5 if necessary. Opening round playoff tickets are $14 for adults, $11 for students and seniors and $8 for children. Fans can purchase tickets to all three first round home games. If there is no Game 5, tickets will be re-assigned to the second round or reimbursed. To purchase tickets, call the Eagles office at 604-531-GOAL (4625).
The Eagles are also offering a special promotion to fans who buy tickets to all three home games in the first round. If fans purchase a ticket to all opening round home games, they will have the opportunity to buy tickets to one of the Eagles' last two regular season home games for 50% off. Surrey's last two regular season games at the South Surrey Arena are against Cowichan Valley on Sunday, March 3rd and Coquitlam on Saturday, March 9th.
