Tonight, the Surrey Eagles host the Coquitlam Express in their fourth game of the 2012 pre-season. The Birds are 1-1-1 through their first three games in exhibition play.
Surrey's last game was a 4-4 tie with Coquitlam on Sunday afternoon at the Poirier Sports and Leisure Complex. Since then, the Express have played two games, losing 7-4 to Langley on Monday before defeating Chilliwack 5-4 on Tuesday.
The Eagles and Express split their season series last year, both finishing with records of 3-2-1-1.
Eagles Players To Watch:
Luke Dietsch: The 18-year-old from Minnesota was playing for the Langley Rivermen last week and actually suited up against the Eagles in the first pre-season game of the year. While the Rivermen decided to part ways with the young forward, Matt Erhart and his staff saw something they liked and added Dietsch to their training camp roster.
Demico Hannoun: Hannoun returns for his second season with Eagles. The 16-year-old put up 26 points in 49 games last year and is poised to have a break-out season as he's already been a major offensive contributor in the first three exhibition games.
Brett Seldon: The Ontario native was acquired from North York of the OJHL the week before training camp. At 6'2 and 195 pounds, he's part of an Eagles defensive core that has greatly increased in size from last season.
Puck drop: 7pm at the South Surrey Arena.
