Tambellini Named Player of the Week


The newest addition to the Surrey Eagles, forward Adam Tambellini, has been named the Gongshow BCHL Player of the Week.

Surrey Eagles forward Adam Tambellini has been named the Gongshow BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 13, the league announced Monday.

Tambellini scored both goals in a 2-1 win over the Penticton Vees in his first game with the Eagles and was named 2nd Star for his efforts. He followed that up with a hat trick and two assists in a 10-2 victory over the Langley Rivermen where he was named 1st Star.

The Edmonton native is now tied with Langley's Mario Puskarich for the BCHL lead in goals with 27 and he sits fourth overall in BCHL scoring with 46 points in 38 games.
